Creating Your Custom Dentures

Once the model meets our high standards, it is sent to the dental lab for the creation of your permanent dentures. After the dentures are made, we will make any necessary minor adjustments to ensure they fit comfortably and securely.

Types of Dentures

At Dental Design Studio, We Offer Two Primary Types of Dentures to Meet Different Needs:

• Conventional Full Dentures: Ideal for patients who need to replace all of their upper and/or lower teeth. After the gums have healed from any extractions, we will take impressions and measurements to craft a custom denture model. This model is fine-tuned for the perfect fit before being sent to the lab to produce the final denture. Dr. Ajay Das will ensure that your new dentures fit comfortably and function optimally.
• Partial Dentures: Also known as Dental Bridges, these are suitable for replacing one or more missing teeth. Partial dentures not only enhance the appearance of your smile but also prevent adjacent teeth from shifting into the gaps left by missing teeth. We design the bridge by placing crowns on the surrounding teeth and attaching a replacement tooth. The new tooth is carefully matched to your natural teeth to provide a seamless look.

Caring for Your Dentures

Maintaining your dentures is crucial for their longevity and your comfort. Regular follow-ups with Dr. Ajay Das are essential to ensure that your dentures continue to fit well and function properly. Dentures should be cleaned daily using a soft-bristle toothbrush and a non-abrasive cleanser to prevent plaque buildup. Typically, dentures need to be replaced every 5-10 years.
